Many of the items here are some of my very favorites and ones that i use in my own home. They are well-vetted and often the very best price/value that i could find.

Your cleanse ToolkitVitamin D3 Knowing your levels through lab work is essential to adequate supplementation, but 2000 IU's is a safe place to start during months that exposure to the sun is minimal. Vitamin D has been linked to improved immunity, protection in over 20 types of cancer and known to be critical to bone health. A Vitamin D3 Supplement that includes Vitamin K is a great choice. Calm* This is a magnesium supplement that supports sleep, muscle relaxation and digestion. I recommend using this nightly. Start low and go slow to bowel tolerance. Do not exceed label directions. ConcenTrace Trace Mineral Drops. I love this product for many reasons. It supplies many of the the necessary trace minerals critical to every function in our body. Called trace minerals because we only need small amounts daily, however, even those small amounts are critical to every cell in our body. If you suffer from leg cramps or restless leg syndrome, this product may be the answer to your body's call. Probiotics Probiotics are a first-line of defense supplement If you are suffering from constipation or any other digestive woe. Today’s diets are sadly lacking in adequate bacteria which were historically found in fermented foods. Milk Thistle* A natural detoxifier and liver aid, milk thistle seeds have been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in several cancers. Bonus: the antioxidants in milk thistle fight free radicals helping to slow the aging process. Bitters* The use of bitters is fundamental to the premise of this cleanse. I'll make specific recommendations and also teach you simple methods to make your own during the cleanse. Organic India* Original flavor is caffeine free and loaded with antioxidants and is a powerful adaptogen. This tea is great any time of day. Organic India* Tulsi Green Tea contains only about 12mg of caffeine per serving and is also full of health benefits. A cup of this tea in the morning is fine throughout the cleanse. Numi Rooibos Chai is caffeine free, delicious with a splash of coconut milk Traditional Medicinals Smooth Move is a helpful tea for occasional constipation Nighty Night is a soothing bedtime tea Roasted Dandelion Root* is a delicious addition to your cleansing routine. Be sure to include at least a cup a day during your cleanse. Dandy Blend* A delicious herbal tea that has the depth of a real cup of coffee. This is a great product to help you ween off coffee. Teeccino Also great herbal coffee substitute. It comes in several flavors and also in a tea. Dry Skin Brush Regular skin brushing helps to stimulate lymph flow and support detoxification. Light brushing just prior to showering helps to exfoliate skin, open and clean pores resulting in softer skin over time. Coconut Oil Yup, for skin care. Coconut oil is a safe, effective skin moisturizer that's naturally antibacterial and anti fungal. It's a pretty good rule of thumb to stay away from skin care products that you wouldn't want to eat. That's because anything you put on your skin, makes its way into your bloodstream faster than had you ingested it and without the benefit of your digestive system's protection. Coconut oil easily replaces your “non-edible” soaps, lotions and creams that contain harmful chemicals. Be sure to look for coconut oil that is unrefined, cold pressed without chemicals and organic. Apricot Oil Rich in fatty acids this oil is great for skin and hair. Look for products expeller-pressed and hexane-free. Dr. Bronners Two-Tiered Seed Sprouter Sprouting is included in the 2018 Spring Cleanse, so If you're not currently making your own sprouts, and don't own a sprouter, consider adding one to your kitchen tools. Sprouts are an amazing superfood, that contain more nutrients in their wee form than in fully mature plants. Crazy right? Let's get sprouting! Sprouting Lids for Wide Mouth Mason Jars These are an inexpensive alternative to the tiered sprouter. You may find having both options useful. 12 Ounce Wide Mouth Ball Jars These are super handy for setting up smoothies ahead, storing sprouts, soups, leftovers, etc, while eliminating the use of plastics. Wide Mouth Mason Jar Lids These are a great alternative to the (rust tending) metal lids that are normally used on mason jars. 100% BPA, phthalate and PVC free. Also freezer and dishwasher safe. |
