These days have me thinking about you and our community that normally gathers at this time of year to participate in my annual Spring Cleanse. I'm sure that you, like me, look forward to the cleanse as an opportunity to shake off the heaviness of winter and welcome the lighter days of spring.
However, this spring looks very different than last year's. After giving our current environment a lot of thought, I believe what's needed most right now is a program that offers the tools and strategies for addressing what's foremost in everyone's mind: staying safe and healthy.
As the seriousness of COVID –19 became more apparent, and restrictive measures were put into place to control rapid transmission, runaway fears and the uncertainty of how this virus would effect them, began to grow steadily.
As a functional medicine health coach, I know the importance of addressing elevated stress in order to maintain optimal immune function. Living in a constant "fight or flight" sympathetic-dominant state, is immunosuppressive. Though we are in the midst of coronavirus, there is much we can do to shift our response to one that promotes a healthy, resilient immune system at the ready.

In this program, we'll practice the very pillars I use in my private practice:

Join me and this community strengthening your immune system and building immunity. We'll cook together, laugh together, inspire each other to move our bodies daily, (*optional BYUV live stream classes!!) meditate daily, and most importantly, deepen our mind/body connection to the power of our daily choices.
During this time we'll explore how stress effects every organ system in your body. And practice several stress-relieving techniques and how, if practiced with consistency, you can find peace and joy in the face of chaos. You'll also learn why daily movement is a non-negotiable, and how optimal health cannot be achieved in its absence.
